2. Allergy information and Ingredients

2.1 The information provided by this site is taken from product packaging or information provided by manufacturers. Upon receipt of your ordered products, customers are advised to check the ingredients and product information of all products to satisfy themselves from the manufacturer's information that the products that you have purchased are appropriate for your dietary needs and will not give rise to allergic reactions or other dietary intolerances. GFF Direct cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions on product listings, as manufacturers may change product recipes/ingredients without prior warning or notification to GFF Direct/GF Foods Ltd.

2.2 From a company perspective, we are a business that provides foods for people who need, (due to dietary intolerances), or prefer the Wheat free or Gluten free diet.

2.3 If a product is also Diary Free or Sodium Free or Egg Free then this is how the product has been researched and developed by the suppliers or producers of the product. Our primary lines of products are Gluten and Wheat free. We do not have a secondary product line.

3. On line purchasing and delivery conditions

3.1 Orders will be despatched by Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service or next day delivery by courier, (whichever is most appropriate), within 24 hours of receipt, subject to stock availability, (unless received on a Friday, weekend or bank holiday where they will be despatched on the next available working day). Orders will not be despatched on a Friday. Our despatch days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We do not deliver to premisis on a Monday.

3.2 Refund Policy - Upon refund of your purchase or any part of your purchase, we admonish ourselves from any further complaint, commission or compensation relating to the refund.

3.2 Customers who place orders containing frozen or ambient goods are able to select the day/date of delivery from the drop down list on the front page in the "basket" area. This date/day selection can only be changed by the customer contacting us direct via e mail to change the date of delivery. Customers are wholly responsible for selecting the correct date/day.

3.3 Purchasing customers must ensure that the correct shipping option is chosen via the drop down menu on the "Basket" page. If the incorrect option is chosen, an extra charge levy may be required. If advice in this is needed, please contact our customer services 01757 289200.

3.4 If, after a purchase is made and an incorrect shipping method selected, the customer requires a full refund, an administration charge of £0.75p will be made upon refund. This is to cover banking refund charges and staff administration.

3.4 Purchase of products from our secure e commerce website confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

4. UK Mainland Delivery Conditions

4.1 For this T & C purpose, UK Mainland does not cover Northern Ireland or the highlands of Scotland for Ambient or Frozen products.

4.2 Our standard delivery timings for UK residential addresses are 9am through to 9pm on the date requested. All frozen items must be signed for upon delivery. Our courier company will not leave frozen or ambient parcels without a signature. A card will be left if not signed for. The card will contain the local distribution centre phone number allowing for the customer to arrange collection or re-delivery. Frozen products have a despatch frozen life of 24 hours from leaving our premises, (presently a 6pm despatch).

4.3 Please ensure full postal details are supplied i.e house number, full post code etc. We do not have any control over a specific delivery time during this period. Although if a specific time for delivery is required, we can escalate the the delivery time to either before 10am or 12pm. This delivery method does incur an additional charge - please contact us for more details.

4.4 If you have not received a call or e mail from us three working days after placing your order, please call 01757 289200. In the unlikely event that an order is lost, damaged, delayed or faulty we won't be able to cover for any damages or losses beyond that of replacing the goods. Please let us know of any problems with your delivery or as soon as you become concerned of non - delivery within 5 working days of notified/anticipated delivery or planned delivery.

4.5 For customers requiring delivery of Ambient and/or Frozen products requireing delivery to Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands, please contact us for postage times and costs.

5. International Delivery Conditions

5.1 Delivery to International customers will take longer and cannot be any frozen products. Delivery times limit any orders to be ambient only. We employ various methods of delivery agents - Royal Mail, Parcel Force and courier. Each offers different pricing options and delivery guarantees. i.e Royal Mail does not offer a tracking facility on the package but is the more economical option. We cannot give a guarantee of successful delivery if the none tracking option is specified. Our preferred option for international deliveries is via courier offering tracking of your purchase.  

5.2 We will contact you via e mail to show postage cost to the parcel's destination giving your the opportunity to agree with the order and delivery method or to cancel.

6. Secure Payment Process

6.1 Please note that we employ a secure card payment processing company - "Sage Pay" - to process all on-line payments. When placing an order on line and making payment via this method, you are authorising "Sage Pay" to take payment from your credit/debit card on at that stage. GF Foods do not process payments manually for on line orders. We do not hold any on-line credit payment details. For more information please click here.

6.2 By completing the purchase process, you as a customer, are agreeing and acknowledging our GF Foods Ltd Terms and Conditions wholly.

6.2 PCI DSS - we are PCI DSS Compliant.

7. Packaging and Recycling

7.1 GFF Direct is very aware of its company responsibilities in regard to recycling of boxes and packaging. In light of this. for ambient goods, we will transport your products in non-GFF direct branded cardboard boxes and waste shredded paper as packaging. For frozen, we will despatch your goods in re-usable, (if not damaged), polystyrene boxes, recycled shredded paper and re-usable frozen packs.

8. Delivery Costs

8.1 UK Mainland
Orders placed for ambient products only will incur a delivery charge of £6.95 For orders containing frozen items only a delivery charge of £8.75 is applicable, this is due to the specialist packing that we use to delivery your goods in an excellent condition. If you wish to order both ambient and frozen goods a single charge of £8.75 is incurred.
Orders placed where the value of the shopping basket (without shipping charges) is greater than £60 qualifies for FREE delivery. This offer is valid for both ambient and frozen deliveries.
We regret that it is not possible to send frozen items to some remote destinations within the UK - you will be advised by a customer services representative if this is the case. Please ensure that the correct postage rate is applied in the shopping basket, if the incorrect delivery charge is used you will be contacted by a member of our customer services team, this may delay the delivery of your order.

8.2 ** PLEASE NOTE - due to changes in delivery tariff's with our preferred courier company, (DHL),  - overnight deliveries to Northern Ireland for frozen orders will now incur a carriage charge of £18.00. All non frozen deliveries will now be sent using Royal Mail or Parcel force with the standard £6.95 delivery charge being applicable.

8.5 Outside UK -At present, not available.

9. Guarantee, Order Cancellation, Returns:

9.1  If you wish to cancel before we have despatched the goods then please call us on 01757 289200 or email  admin@gffdirect.co.uk

9.2 If you wish to cancel after we have despatched the goods then please call us on 01757 289200 or email admin@gffdirect.co.uk to arrange a return. This instruction must come from the original ordering e mail address or person ordering. We will ask security questions to confirm this cancellation ie credit card number, time of ordering etc. In this instance, the charge made to you will be refunded on return of the goods less the original carriage charge and will include the return carriage charge if this satisfies our justification for return/refund. If the return is for reasons other than faulty / incorrect goods then we will refund less the cost of returning the goods to us at a next day delivery rate.

9.3  If a frozen goods package arrives in a spoilt state, customers are advised not consume the goods and dispose of immediately. Proof of spoil must be provided within 30 minutes of signature, (photograph), and forwarded to us at admin@gffdirect.co.uk. We may ask for spoilt frozen goods to be collected by our preferred courier for quality control purposes. In any event, photographic evidence will be required. Spoilt frozen goods MUST be returned in the original packing and contain the chiller agents as delivered.

9.4 If delivery of frozen order products was attempted in accordance with our Frozen goods Terms and conditions by our couriers, due warning and planning was given by our despatch team and the courier could not deliver due to the recipient not being at the address to accept delivery, GF Foods Ltd do not accept responsibility or claim against spoilt frozen goods.

10. Privacy and E-mail Policy

10.1 GFF Direct is committed to protecting your privacy, we know that when you shop on-line, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you provide us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that. Under the principles of the Data Protection Act we need to inform you that we hold a record of all the details we need for setting you up and servicing you as a customer. This does not include your credit card details. Under the rules of PCI DSS and PA DSS, your credit card details are held at a PCI DSS and PA DSS accredited financial organisation - Sage Pay. This includes special delivery instructions and dietary requirements if applicable. This information may also be used as a basis for sending you information we think will interest you. Should you wish not to receive such information, please e mail 'un-subscribe' to admin@gffdirect.co.uk . We need to keep information on file to service you as a customer. Should any of your details be incorrect please contact us allowing us to correct these errors.

10.2 GFF Direct reserve the right to use Cookies in order to collect information about site visitors, and to verify visitors accessing secure sections of the site. Cookies are small text files that are collected and stored by your computer and then sent to your browser when you access parts of a site. If you visit any of this sites secure areas, then we may use cookies to store an identifying code in the file which means you can be identified (and verified) upon entering these areas.

10.3 All information gathered from this website is stored on secure servers. No information is held on publicly accessible servers or third party sites. We do not sell or lease this information to third parties.

10.4 Data Protection. The following explains how we treat the information that you provide us when you use this site. It also aims to assure you of our commitment to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to the processing of any personal data we obtain from you.

10.5 Where you have requested action from this site, you may be asked for information that personally identifies you (Personal Data), enabling us to contact you to provide you with a service, product, or advice that you have requested. Our site collects data only from the information that you provide during the order process or when contacting us via e mail.

10.6 Personal data collected on this site may be used to:

a. Provide you with the advice, products or services that you have requested.

b. Provide you with a personalised view of information on this site, which may be of special interest to you and/or your company.

c. Disclose your information as required by law.

d. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

13.2 The colours, images, descriptions and other representations of all products have been displayed to the best of the Company's endeavours; however actual packaging and colour of products may vary from that shown, and the colour and appearance of graphics may vary depending on your monitor/computers capabilities and set-up.

13.3 All reasonable attempts are made to ensure that the product ingredients list is correct. However variation may occur either within or beyond the control of the Company. The ingredients lists are provided as a courtesy and the Customer should confirm any/all ingredients upon receipt of purchased products, and should any discrepancy be found then the Customer should follow the Returns Policy of the Company.
